    A Message from Yvette……..

    As your therapist my goal is to help you by supporting your continued self-development and vision toward self-awareness and a healthy emotional state of being. 

    At Centerpiece Behavioral Health Services we are dedicated to helping you focus on your inner strength, self-care and self-improvement. We work collaboratively with you to incorporate a variety of interventions depending on your individual needs and preferences. I utilize various counseling modalities including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Informed Approaches (EMDR), Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness and other sensory modalities including Emotion Regulation Strategies.

    I specialize in working with children in grades K-5 with Anxiety, Depression, Grief & Loss, Relationship Struggles, Stress Related concerns, ADHD and Behavior Management.  

    Education & Training

    I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Endicott College and a Master’s Degree from Salem State University in Counseling and Psychological Services with a concentration in Marriage and Family.

    I have a special interest in working with children on the Autism Spectrum. After completing my coursework at Western Connecticut State University in Applied Behavior Analysis, I am working towards my certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. 

    Hobbies

    Spending time with my family, reading, listening to music and riding the Segway.
